Helping dogs and people stay together

American Akita Kuma and his mum working on a rock-solid focus to help the dog extinguish unwanted behaviours, leading to improved leashwork and a reliable recall.

This these videos were taken after two sessions

Kuma is two years old and shows that behavioural training is not just for puppies. Learning  can take place at any age and across all breeds. All we, as owners and handlers require is consistency in training practice and a little patience.

Just like people, dogs have good days and not-so-good days when it comes to training. The key to success is to keep training sessions brief and regular. If your dog is not feeling it for any reason stop working and try again later.

Most importantly have fun - if you enjoy itraining your dog will too!
